australia layout

Here's the page I made the other night about things I miss about Australia / my mission. It is super simple - mostly a journal entry. It was fun to scrapbook again. (Click on the picture to see it better.)

Also, I have some new recipes on my recipe blog. Check them out here.

cha

Twice a year new scrapbooking products are presented at CHA (Craft and Hobby Association). It's so fun seeing the new stuff that is coming out. Some companies show sneak peeks and some show nothing until after the show. Karen Russell (who designs for Creative Imaginations) however, shared her new lines on her blog. I adore the easel books shown above. Aren't they so fun? Check out Karen's blog to see her full lines. I just love her stuff!

I haven't blogged in a while but not too much has been going on here. Just homework, going to class, working on my goals, and cleaning the house, etc.

Have a great day!

PS Pebblita (Heather) - I haven't heard from you yet with your address. Email me so I know where to send your goodies!

freebies

Any digital scrapbookers out there? I'm not much of one myself, but I would like to learn to integrate it a little more into the way I scrapbook. If you are interested in digital scrapbooking, check this out. Jessica Sprague is the queen of it and she is giving out some freebies on her blog. I love the look of the thankful book and I'm thinking it would be fun to have each of my family members take a page to write what they're grateful for and then use pictures from Thanksgiving this year throughout the book (my family is coming here for Thanksgiving - my first time preparing a Thanksgiving meal!) So that is my plan. If it actually happens, I'll share it here.

**Edited to add another link to even more freebies and also these instructions related to the first link I gave you**

change

I just wanted to share this layout I made for a challenge over at scrapjacked. I'm glad for the challenge because it motivated me to sit down and write about the change that will start tomorrow when I go back to school. This is my last day of "summer" and I'm kind of sad to see it go.
