I absolutely loved the Neil Diamond concert. It was everything I hoped it would be. He played tons of his old stuff and only a few new songs, which was perfectly fine by me. It was kind of funny - we were some of the younger people there...by a lot. We looked around and saw people with canes and gray hair. I think Neil is in his late sixties or early seventies after all. But nonetheless, I think he is amazing. I seriously had such a good time. W even enjoyed himself, despite only knowing a few songs.
Above are some really bad pictures from the concert. Our camera is currently not working (which you will find out more about if I ever blog about our Mexico trip) so we are using a little point and shoot. It just isn't quite the same, but I'm glad we have something rather than nothing. (And I am not going to comment on that really dorky picture of us other than to say we are huge dorks and we know it and love it. If you look closely, you can see that we are wet from rain.)
I just had to get this down before it got lost in the shuffle of craziness that is my life right now. What a happy night. Thanks, Dub, for the awesome birthday present!
