We had two dogs back in Arizona that we had to leave behind. We were pretty sad about it. I am more of a cat person myself, but our friends were moving so they gave us their dog for free (Kipp), and then of course he was lonely, so we had to get him a friend (Darla). And then of course I fell in love with both of them. Apparently, they became "more than friends" and Darla got pregnant (her first time in heat...right before we were going to get her fixed). We were quite surprised, really, because Kipp and Darla are a bit different in size (keep in mind that Darla is 10 weeks old in this picture, and Kipp is 10 months old):
As it turned out, we moved to Washington just before Darla delivered. We left them with some friends who, surprisingly, wanted both of them AND their puppies. Today we got some pictures of the little pups (Seven of them! There were eight but one died). Quite a few people thought these would be weird puppies because Darla is a Rottweiler / Lab mix and Kipp is a Beagle / Jack Russell Terrier Mix...but they're adorable! I so want to hold one of these little guys.
In other news, we closed on our house today. The moving truck comes tomorrow with all of our stuff. We're debating sleeping on the floor of our new house tonight because a) we're so excited that it's our house now and b) we don't want to get up at 6am to get to our new house in time to meet the movers (can you tell that I've been doing lots of multiple choice stuff in my stats homework lately?).
Tonight is Gilmore Girls - horray! Happy Tuesday!
