Arise and Shine Forth

I have been thinking about my mission lately. I'm not really sure why now more than any other time. My mom pointed out recently that I have been home for six years this month, so I guess that could be why. In any event, I have been reflecting on that time in my life and how grateful I am to have had that experience. I even scrapbooked tonight (which is really shocking since it's only the third layout I've made for me since I started the social work program)and the subject was things I miss about Australia. (Maybe I will share it in another post.) Anyway, this song really reminds me of my mission and I haven't heard it since then until tonight. It is one of the things I included in my layout so that got me to thinking about it so I searched for it on youtube (which is one of the best things ever invented in my opinion). This is the first video that came up, and happened to be the exact song I was looking for. It's not that the song is incredible but it has so many memories associated with it. It really takes me back to that time in my life. (Emily - I'm not sure if you read my blog but if you do I have to give a shout out to you since we always listened and sang to this together while driving around Toronto.) But for all the rest of you reading, even without the memories, it's still a good song a message and I love the video it's set to. Enjoy!
