{thrift store love}

I am a lover of thrift stores and garage sales. I hadn't been to a thrift store in a few months and was feeling its absence in my life so the other day I stopped by to peruse for potential treasures. Among other things, I found these adorable red shoes for $2. (Even though I haven't worn high heels since my wedding day and don't even own a single other pair (and even then they were platform high heels, not the real deal) - but how could I pass these up?) It doesn't take much to make me happy...just a little treasure like this and a camera to document it. Yep, this is the good life.

In other news, I'm getting excited for school to start. I'm excited to be in my program and learning and to be a little closer to my degree. (Though I will probably be singing a different tune a couple of months from now.) I think I may have mentioned it already on here, but I found out I only have ten classes left to take and then my internship. It's a beautiful thing.

I'm also excited for Fall. I've never experienced Fall in the Pacific Northwest, but I'm anticipating the leaves on the trees changing colors. I occasionally drive by a local pumpkin farm and it makes me smile. I love Fall. (Just not Winter so much, which will follow all too quickly.)

Now I need to get off of the computer and finish my to-do list for the day, starting with cleaning out our closet and then going to the gym and the store. Tonight we're watching more Heroes with our friends and I'm looking forward to it. Yay for Fridays!
