"treat your mother right"

Ah, I love how relaxing Sundays are.

I hope everyone is having a nice Mother's Day. Here's a video by Mr. T from the 80s that is kind of fitting for today: Treat Your Mother Right. Entertaining.

Wendel and I went to church this morning. They gave all of the women over 18 years old potted flowers and angel food cake with strawberries and whipped cream in honor of Mother's Day (even those of us who aren't mothers yet). So sweet of them. Then we came home and I made chicken enchiladas while Wendel had a nap (I plan to share the recipe for these this week). We're done with dinner now and we've both talked to our wonderful moms. Just sitting back and enjoying the evening.

Yesterday we went to Home Depot and bought a chop saw for a project I'm working on - I'm excited about it.

Now, back to relaxing...
