chaos

I saw this on Kelly McCaleb's blog and thought it was perfect for my blog too. Life has been a bit chaotic for...the past two years, really. Since I started grad school while being pregnant. I think that started the chaos. Then we moved out of our house in Washington and stayed with friends for three months before moving to Arizona. It's always a little chaotic living out of suitcases and not having your own space (though we will forever be grateful for their kindness). Then moving to another state is crazy. Once we got here, we had two weeks to unpack and get settled before starting new jobs. We are both working full time right now, which is also chaotic. So I really, really like that quote above. It gives me hope that change isn't far off. A change involving more peace and time to be still. But, in the meantime, I am trying to enjoy this crazy stage of life too. There are things I like about working. I like that I'm using my education and skills to help children and families. I like that I am able to talk about the gospel with co-workers. I like seeing growth as I challenge myself to do really hard things. I miss my little guy, though. That part is really hard. Here's to hoping that change isn't too far off.
