sassy mei

Sassy Mei is coming up! We will have our photography booth set up again this year. There are so many fun and cute things to look at. Plan to attend!

Also, they are doing lots of fun giveaways for free stuff (including a photo shoot with us). Check out their facebook page here and their blog here.

catching up: connor's blessing

Going back a couple of weeks, we went to Portland for our nephew's baby blessing. It was so nice being there. Connor is such a good baby. He didn't mind being passed around from person to person. I think I only heard him cry once the whole weekend and it was because he was hungry. What a sweet little guy. We're glad to have Connor in our family.

I have some pictures I took of this little cuite with my camera but I am not the most organized person right now. I will have to find them and add them later.

first ultrasound

I had my first ultrasound last week. Ultrasounds are amazing! Seeing an image of our baby appear on the screen was incredible. I was surprised by how much I loved it. The tech I had wasn't too enthusiastic or talkative and W couldn't be there but I decided to just be excited by myself anyway. The baby raised his/her arm up and then brought it down to his/her face and it looked like he/she was sucking on his/her thumb. He/she also extended and bended his/her legs and seemed pretty active the whole time. (I can't wait until we know the sex so I can just say he or she.) I know people always wonder what they're looking at when they see these scans but I think it's pretty amazing.

i couldn't resist...

Remember the cute little dress in this post? Even though I have no idea if we are having a boy or a girl, and who knows if we will ever have a girl, I finally broke down and bought it. It's just so cute! It arrived today and I'm in love. Someday I want to learn how to sew but until then I will adore the handiwork of others.
