really?

Just another example of what I was talking about here, tonight W, my mom (who is visiting from Utah) and I went to see Mama Mia. I told the man selling tickets, "Three for Mama Mia." The three of us were standing there in front of him. He said, "Two adults and one child?" Are you kidding me? I should have let him think I was twelve and taken the discount but I think he read on my face that I thought he was crazy. I really don't feel like I look like a little kid...any tips for looking older?

That used to happen to me, too. Here's how I cured it: I had babies and entered my 30's. It doesn't happen anymore and now I kind of wish it did. :-)

That's so crazy. I would never think you were that young, but maybe it's just because I know how old you are...

I say enjoy it. Society now equates beauty with youth. So maybe it's not that you look especially young. Maybe it's just that you're so stinkin' hot that they can't imagine you being in your twenties. That sounds like a pretty nice problem to me!!!

I had the opposite problem: In the first 2 years of marriage, on more than one occasion, people thought I was Geoff's MOTHER!! What??? Then, last year, I was at the grocery store with Isabel and Sophia. Some (stupid) lady asked if I was their grandmother or mother... DOUBLE WHAT!!! Enjoy it while you can :)

Maybe he just didn't believe that a man was going with you...lol
Dave refuses to see that with me.

Too funny!! Seriously though, you don't look that young, but you definately look in your early 20's which I think is definately a compliment!?! You look Beautimus!! Hoped you enjoyed the show. I went this last Sat. too, and thought it was fun, corny but fun.

hmm... maybe you could try chopping your hair off and curling it in one of those "helmet head" styles. Too much? :)
