self-portraits
I love looking at Elsie's self-portraits. She has inspired me to take some of myself in the past and I took a few more the other day. I especially love her tips in this post about making them dramatic and making the background look white (like I did with the last picture. You can see the difference from the picture above it, which was the same picture before I altered it). I took all of these in my bathroom mirror. Try it. It's fun. (I also think it will be fun for my kids to see their mom being silly in the mirror like this some day, and of course I'm all about preserving stuff now for the future.)

These are great photos, I have yet to try the whole selfportrait thing. I need too though, since I am always the one behind the camera.
